We have a company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) that is registered with ISOQAR Limited conforming to the requirements of ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001:2008 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
We are also members of SpeCC (Registration Scheme for Specialist Concrete Contractors), meeting the technical requirements and standards for sector 1 – concrete frames and also sector 2, Tier 1 – major and residential basements.
Other trade bodies that continually audit our systems and processes are CONSTRUCT (Concrete Structures Group Ltd and Achilles Information Ltd).
We pride ourselves on the quality we achieve on our projects and see this as a key delineator. To achieve the required quality at handover, it must be set as a project strategy from the outset of the scheme. To achieve quality at handover, requires a process that commences at design stage.
The flow diagram below illustrates the quality procedure we employ on our contracts.
A Project Quality Plan will be developed for the project, a key part of which is a comprehensive inspection and Test Plan, which identifies and records the inspection and testing regime for all relevant parts of our works. Details recorded will include the type of record to be generated, the issuing party, the form in which it will be maintained and any third party involvement in the checking process.
